Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

This is Amodigo’s first report on emissions. We have not previously assessed or reported emissions. The company was registered in 2018, and began operating under this current model in the past year. The stated period will be both our baseline and our first reporting period. All employees work from home. When travelling for work, a mixture of private cars and public transport is used. We have included this in Scope 3. We have used the financial control approach to calculate our emissions and included emissions relating to all direct business delivery activity. Utility bills and The Carbon Trust Calculator were used to make calculations. | |

Emissions reduction targets
We expect our emissions relating to travel to increase as our scope of work increases; we are exploring offset schemes to maintain and ultimately reduce our baseline.
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have committed to the following actions:
- Identify a senior lead within the organisation to drive our strategy to reduce carbon emissions.
- Identify a robust process for calculating and recording CO2e for delivery of training programmes, and including this in our standard operating procedures.
- Produce a workable action plan to incrementally achieve net zero CO2e by 2035. Three key approaches have been identified: energy efficiency, strategic and operational planning and off-setting.
- Contribute to carbon offset programmes within the next five years. To fit with our company ethos of “driving human performance”, we plan to include social impact projects.
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standards for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
