Why should anyone be led by you?

Coming across a great book title recently sparked a fountain of thoughts; a question so great we wanted to share it. It’s an important one to ask yourself if you wish to be in a position of leadership one day.

Finding our morality over personal ambition.

The race to the top may be the obvious path you’ve always envisioned. And, why shouldn’t you aim for the highest success?

But ask yourself, Why should anyone be led by you?

We have a responsibility to ourselves and to others to make sure that we are readily equipped to take on the roles of influence over others.

Those who have been under poor direction and unpleasant leadership, from school teacher to CEO will know the impact they have on the lives of those who look to them for guidance.

You cannot be effective leaders without adopting the right qualities that come with the position. It is about finding them and honing them. To warrant the right to lead others into a positive direction.
